Upon receipt the base appeared to have bent before packaging. I was able to pull it out myself and there is just cracked paint to show it was ever damaged.The scale seems to work fine. I am a big guy and it is hard to find a scale that will handle my weight accurately. I would have given it a 5 star rating had it not been damaged.Customer Review: Good product
