I've been using this for some time now and have been purchasing it at a specialty market that closed. I found it on Amazon and get it from them now. Nopal Cactus has a reputation of being beneficial to diabetics, in it's natural form, canned (or bottled) and in the form of these capsules.
The capsules are convenient, travel well and store nicely. I use three capsules twice a day. I spoke with my doctor and he recommended the fresh. I can only get them in season so the convenience of the bottles are good for me. Remember, it's a supplement, not a cure! Bopper
