I've dealt with IBS for over 8 years. When it had gotten so bad I couldn't leave the house anymore, I decided enough was enough. I did a search for IBS and found Heather's website. I ordered the Acacia (Tummy Fiber) right away, then later the books. The fiber is wonderful! It doesn't get gritty, and you can add it to soft foods as well, like applesauce. There is NO taste or texture to it at all, as is it completely soluble. Just make sure you put the fiber in a glass first, then add the liquid, stirring with a fork. If for some reason it doesn't mix all the way, which is rare, just let it sit for a few minutes. I also have been on the diet, and am using her peppermint capsules. And now, I CAN LEAVE THE HOUSE!!! I can venture away from the bathroom like a normal person. I have my life back.
And the Acacia helps all three types of IBS. I just wish I would had found it sooner.
It also ships quickly, just one more plus. I can't say enough good things about Heather and her products. I'm ordering more right now. Give it a try, don't let IBS hold you hostage anymore. You won't regret trying the Acacia.

I love this stuff! It took me the better part of a month to really see noticeable results, but ever since then I'm going to the bathroom not just once, but twice a day. Only someone who has suffered with IBS for years can understand how thrilling this is. I wasn't sure if this was helping me at first, so I emailed the company, and Heather herself actually wrote me back! It turned out I just needed to keep gradually increasing my dose, and that did the trick. Ever since I was a little kid I've had stomach problems, cramps, and I alternate between constipation and diarrhea. When I was in my twenties I was finally told I have IBS, and that I should take psyllium. I tried that and got bloating so bad I looked pregnant (and I'm a man). Acacia for me is a miracle. No bloating, no gas. It just stops my diarrhea and keeps me from getting constipated. I've been using it for several months right now, and I couldn't be happier. I keep some at work, some at home, and I travel with it too. This stuff is amazing - why didn't they have this for me years ago?!
