Customer Reviews of Herbal Concepts Hot/Cold Comfort Booties, BlueCustomer Review: Wonderful idea Summary: 5 Stars
I am in love with this whole idea. My grandmother has trouble with her feet as they swell, ache and she has a hard time getting them warm. After giving her these neat booties she props her feet up every night, has her warmed booties on and just grins. What a great thank you each time I see her.
Customer Review: Keep your feet warm Summary: 5 Stars
Just be careful with your microwave. They can get hot, instead of just warm. It makes a difference with your microwaves power. They do work great.
Customer Review: Effective but must reheat after 10 minutes Summary: 4 Stars
We bought these booties for my grandma for Christmas because she has problems with her feet. She heats the booties in the microwave and uses them hot. Since she started using them, she says her feet have been feeling better! She creatively puts them on her shoulders as well to help pain in that area. The downside to these booties is that they only stay warm for about 10 minutes before she has to reheat them.
Customer Review: Comfort for the feet Summary: 3 Stars
These go in the microwave, but only the sole gets really warm -- it's filled with gel stuff (herbs?). The sole also gets lumpy when heated up, so you cannot walk around in them -- they are for lounging only. Stays warm for about 30 minutes. I'm not wild about the smell, either. However, it is comforting when your feet are freezing, and you can heat them up and relax with a good book or watching T.V. so it's nice to have this option.
Customer Review: Just ok Summary: 3 Stars
I bought several pairs and they were not consistent in make/manufacture. One would get too hot in the microwave and the other not hot enough. I bought for elderly relatives and they had a hard time keeping them on their feet. I think there are better ways to heat the feet (hot bricks, maybe).
