Let me start from the beginning.
I was looking to purchase straight razor because I wanted to shave my face myself, rather than have an electic of safety razor do it for me. I looked around the internet and found a whole bunch and read lots of reviews. I bought this one.
My idea was this: I've never shaved with a straight razor before and this would be a good product to learn how to do that with. When the blade gets dull, I would be able to change the blade instead of honing it, which is something I did not want to have to worry about when learning.
I've been shaving with it for a few weeks and I am very satisfied. I think you would be too.
