After about eight years my previous HoMedic massager gave up. I ordered this one because it looked just like the one I had come to love. The price was great and I was surprised to find this one had additional features my old one lacked. This one has heating action, if you choose to use it. Now I am pretty hot already, so that feature will seldom be used, but the vibrating pads do a great job on my sore, tired feet and calves. You can't go wrong with this one.

I've owned several of these, different models. I guess I wore the first one out. It was my favorite and the most powerful. The second one I gave to a friend. This one is more basic than either of those but works fine. I'd give it 5 stars but it arrived missing the heat parts. Yes, they have a name but it escapes me. Fortunately I had those left from one of the previous units. The parts fit fine.

We have purchased a series of these Homedics Massagers. They last about a year with daily use. Couldn't get the one we wanted--backordered--so we ordered a couple of these inexpensive ones as back ups. I massage my husbands neck and upper shoulders every evening--until we started doing this he had a constant neck ache for about 30 years. It has been wonderful to find a way to give him relief. This model works well enough but is so noisy that we are wearing ear plugs when we use it! Wish they would stop changing models so often and just concentrate on a good solid massager that will last.
