I bought this to drown out my noisy neighbor while I am trying to sleep. It works perfectly. Additionally, I love the feature where you can look at the ceiling for the time. I wear glasses for fairly bad vision and I can read it just fine, which I was a little concerned about. Also, whenever my best friend stays the night at my house she normally shares my bed with me instead of sleeping on the couch and she loves the fact that she doesn't have to practically crawl over me to see the time on the clock because it is easy for her to see it on the ceiling.Customer Review: Clock on the ceiling? Ok, maybe I'm behind the times a bit, but I think the projection thing is awesome. Being able to just lie in bed and look up to see what time it is...wow. Ok, so we've gotten so lazy as a society that we can't even TURN OUR HEADS to look at a clock anymore, but still, I love it. The sounds are pretty cool, too, and help the baby get to sleep. They could add a few more sounds, though, like frolicking squirrels or dogs swimming through jello swimming pools, but until then, this one will have to do. Overall, great clock. I just purchased this and love it. 2 things that I would like to mention about the unit that aren't really addressed in it's description are 1, there is a switch that turns on and off the projection so that it'll display all night if you want it to (as opposed to the ones that only display for a few seconds when you push a button). The second thing is that I like to have the "bugs" (which is what I call the soothing sounds feature)on all night and when it's time for my alarm to go off, the buzzer or radio overrides the bugs. We already owned this exact same clock radio and bought a second one to have on hand in case the first one breaks on us, which it hasn't yet. We received this clock radio several years ago as a gift and didn't really utilize the sound machine. Once we had our baby, however, we started using the sound machine for all her naps and at bedtime. The sounds definitely remind her of the womb and help put her to sleep. We are very pleased with this product and happy we were able to find the exact same one to have as a backup.Customer Review: THANK YOU
