For the past two years we've tried to block out the sound of noisy neighbors so that my son could sleep peacefully. It was of no use because music just woke him up faster especially if we put the volume higher. We finally found a solution- the sound soother on this clock. We put the rain at full blast and he can't hear any noise going on around his room. Thank God! We're about to have a second baby and I just ordered another one of these to help him sleep better from the get-go. LOVE IT!Customer Review: Like soft moonlight

I particularly like the soft blue light that the time projection casts over the room. Much preferred over the red ones on most time projection clocks. The numbers are large and easy to read while my glasses remain on the nightstand overnight. I like the soothing sounds, nice for background while I'm reading but I bought it for the time projection feature. However, the ease of use is a plus, the logical layout of the required buttons make access even in the dark a breeze.Customer Review: Excellent Product

Very good device. 6 different sounds available, very natural audio. Extremely simple to operate. The alarm function is very useful as well. The radio doesn't have very good reception, but I don't really care because I didn't want a radio in the fist place, though it is very good if you desire to use it as a alarm to wake you up. I bought this for my mother-in-law who has difficulty sleeping. I hoped the sounds of nature would relax her. I wasn't sure about the projecting time on the ceiling because I thought it may interfere with her sleep. She LOVES the nature sounds and also LOVES the projecting time. Another nice feature is the radio which she said comes in very clear. Overall this was a great value, and I'm glad I made the purchase.Customer Review: Just as promised

I got this for my wife for Christmas and you would have thought it was new jewelry by her response. She has always wanted a projecting clock. She wants to be able to be facing any direction in bed (except face down) and know what time it is, now she can. The SS-4000 covers her side of the bed and ceiling, and my clock covers my side. The nature sounds are great for a smooth wake up and to amuse our 3 year old.
