This clock has so many cool features! You can fall asleep listening to nature sounds, the radio, your IPod, or any MP3 player. And you can set it to turn itself off after 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes. The clock comes preset to Eastern time, so there is no need to set it yourself. If you are in a different time zone (I'm Central so I did this), there is a time zone switch on the back that lets you easily change it to the correct zone. Also, there is a Daylight Savings Time (DST) switch that works the same way, so basically you never have to set the time. Also included and already installed is a lithium battery which keeps the time when unplugged. All of the buttons are conveniently located so you know where everything is, even in the dark. The 6 nature sounds (brook, ocean, sunrise, night, waterfall, and rain) are all awesome. The radio reception is great. The speakers are wonderful. The blue display is not too bright at all to me, but if you, for some reason, find that it is, THERE IS A BUTTON TO DIM THE DISPLAY!!!!! The time projection can be turned off from the back (it's a switch) but I leave mine on all night and turn it off during the day. I don't have an iPod so I use the cord included to plug mine up, but for those who have an iPod, it comes with several different size inserts to fit the type of iPod you have. Oh, there is also a nap timer that can be set without even touching your alarm settings. Simply press "Nap/Snooze", then the timer button for 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes and you're done. In ADDITION to that, it has dual alarms. So that makes it what, 3 alarms? COOL! If anything, I'd say this unit is underpriced. AWESOME BUY!!!!! I LOVE THIS CLOCK!!!!
