I returned this product after trying it out, and bought a different full size back massager--which I kept. The shiatsu mechanism is a good idea, however there are better products out there that give you a better massage. Liked the heat feature, though.Customer Review: broke at 2 months

Mine worked great for two months and then the moter burnt out. I loved it when it worked though. I am considering trying to get warranty service, but i'm sure I will have to pay shipping and wait for a 4 week turnaround.. :(Customer Review: Achy, Breaky Back

This was a Christmas gift for my husband who has back pain on a very regular basis. He opend the box, plugged it in and was very impressed. After a breakfast break, he went back for more and the massage function stopped had completely stopped working. Yes, we waited in case it was the 20 minute "time out" but that was not the problem. Amazon was lightening fast in sending us a replacement! The second one lasted for two uses before also breaking. Same exact problem- it just quit massaging.
We are sending it back for a refund. So while we are seriously unimpressed with this product, I will throw a mad SHOUT OUT to Amazon for handling both the exchange and the refund process in a very timely and professional manner. Your site is one of the few that really makes both ordering and returning easy!

I was so excited to get this item because I've been having neck/back problems. I thought the rolling balls were similar to another homedics massager I have. But no, this one is all flat! It is different from my other one and so it is not useful for me. It doesn't get the spot as I would like it to. They need to include on the description that the shiatsu balls are flat...otherwise it's deceiving when you are thinking they will be like the other shiatsu balls, but they are not! I want to return this but am not sure if I will be able to. I am going to look for something else.Customer Review: do not buy this worthless ...well you know

I asked myself the question when I saw this on QVC - how is that going to work on your back when it's shaped like a C (a shallow curved C)...whose back is shaped like that? ...well, I was right - it doesn't work. It doesn't hit your back right - it doesn't work on your shoulders - it's just no good. It doesn't even get warm when you turn on the heat. Don't buy this - buy something else, but not this. Unless you want to massage the back of your thighs - it should be great for that. bleh...
