This is a wrist monitor which is automatic and has a memory for reading previous measurements. It also averages the readings. I replaced another monitor which had become unreliable with this one. I then took it to my doctor's office to have it compared to the manual sphymomonometer and the accuracy was within about 2%. So, I conclude that this is an accurate and affordable unit which is simple to operate and has useful features.
