Yesterday, my husband ordered this for our 3 month old son. Today, I received it and set it up in the nursery. Comes with an adapter, so no batteries required - fantastic!
My son took a liking to the colorful images projected on the ceiling (you have three theme options on "cd") and he fell asleep within ten minutes of listening to the ocean sounds. I've never had him fall asleep in his crib on his own before and because of this I give Homedics SS-3000 Soundspa Lullaby five stars. It's amazing!

We bought one of these for my daughter when she was three years old. It was invaluable in helping her sleep. It was used every night for around four years before it finally wore out, and has given her countless hours of comfort and joy. It came with us on trips and went with her on sleepovers. When it finally wore out last year, I had no hesitation replacing it. My daughter is eight and still loves the soothing melodies and delightful slide shows it provides. This has been the best thing for both my son and I. He loves to look at and babble to the projections. I use the gentle light from the projector for his late night diaper changes and feeding. The gentle sounds are soothing for both. It is small and looks like an alarm clock on the bedside instead of a "baby toy". I HIGHLY recomend this product. I have even considered buying a second just in case they stop making them. It will be the gift of choice for all my friends who have babies in the future!Customer Review: Like it!!

We bought this to help soothe our baby to sleep. It does a great job! We have used it every night for the last six months (12 hours a night) and it's been great. We mostly use the "rain" and "ocean" settings. I like that you can adjust the volume from very soft to quite loud. I have occasionally used the timer feature for older children to designate quiet rest times and sometimes they accidentally go to sleep! I haven't used the light much but it's cute. We've had this soundspa for three years - ever since our daughter was an infant. She just loves it. It's been working fine the entire time until just recently where the motor started acting up causing the video to turn off. The music portion still works fine. It's become part of our daughter's nightly rutine, she really likes to listen to the music at night as it seems to sooth her. We love this product and have purchased it for a few of our friends as baby shower gifts. We would buy it again.
