I didn't want to cut them because I wasn't sure which shoes I wanted them in so I just slipped them in a pair of socks and wore them for about 5 hours (with no shoes).
I felt energized and had to remove them (until the next day). I would not try to sleep with them on.
I suffer from sciatica and these helped relieve some of that pain even without putting them on my back like the other reviewer has done.
The nibs/nobs/nubs are small-I didn't even notice them but I'm use to wearing slides that have BIG massaging nubs on them so that could be why.
Our bodies are magnetic, I read it has something to do with the iron in our blood. I guess these work on that principal-these keep the magnetic flow going (south to north and all that jazz).
