Customer Review: Lovely and relaxing

It is true that this item is not made of bronze but heavy-duty plastic. Nonetheless, the patina is very well done and I would be proud to display it anywhere. However, where I have placed it is my bedroom by the headboard. At night I turn it on to drown out the sound of the city with the sound of a waterfall.
The motor at first was loud but I followed the instructions and now it is a soft hum drowned out by the sound of the water. Also, I had hoped to secure the fountain to a wall but the top merely sits on the bottom so it must be secured by a bracket (or decorative shelf.)
My only regret is that the lights do not turn off independently and so I cannot listen to the waterfall as I fall asleep. When the fountain is on, the lights are dim, not strong enough to read by (less than a single candle). But they give the room a romantic golden ambiance and cast an ornate shadow of the fountain's "iron work" on the wall behind.
