Customer Review: Sonds like a trickling faucet left on . . . but it's pretty

The fountain really is very pretty. But it sounds like more of a trickling kitchen fountain than a water fall . . . and the first night, when it ran out of water, the motor sounded so shrill we thought a fire alarm had gone off. Overall, it is very attractive but the sound is not relaxing. The rock fountain is, in my opinion, a better purchase.Customer Review: Poor quality parts

I needed a small and inexpensive fountain that would fit on my desk at work. It works fine except for one major problem...the mental mesh above that water reservoir that the water follows through is RUSTING only after one week of use. You'd think Homedics would design a WATER fountain with parts that don't rust. Not recommended.
