Right out of the box, this thing is hideous...three cheap plastic parts that sit awkwardly on top of one another, you top it off with stones, fill it with water...and you're supposed to be awestruck? Why does Homedics make such cheap junk? What, they couldn't charge $10-$20 more and maybe used a creative ceramic container? 'Made in China', that's all you see nowadays...and the quality shows. Pass this one up...buy something that will really complement your home furnishings...not this flimsy model.Customer Review: Terrible terrible terrible

Received my fountain and started filling it with water and water went everywhere. The base is cracked so I just threw away $30. I am extremely disappointed. I guess I could send it back to Homedics but I would have to go to the post office and pay the shipping which would be as much as the fountain. What a waste of money.
