I am glad I found Huggies Little Swimmers on Amazon at a price that is slightly better than at a local Target. My son loves going to pool and we always use Huggies Little Swimmers. These diapers have characters that my son likes and they are easy to put on. The easiest way to take them off it to rip the sides. These diapers are very good at containing poo. A couple of times it happened inside the pool, nothing came out.
I few times I ran out of swim diapers I used a regular diaper, and it was not a good experience. A regular diaper swells too much from absorbing water making it hard for a child to move legs inside the pool and to walk when they get out of the pool. Disposing off of the swollen regular diaper is also more difficult. Using a swim diaper in the pool is definitely better than using a regular diaper.
I would recommend Huggies Little Swimmers.
