I used to only put my 6 month old daughter in Pampers Swaddlers (Sensitive) since she was born. Pampers was the brand that the hospital used and because of that, I thought that it was the best brand on the market. Finding a size 4 in the Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive is hard to find in stores and one day, with only a few diapers in my possession, I needed a new supply asap! The only store that was open at the time didn't carry them, so I took a leap of faith and purchased the Huggies Pure & Natural.
These diapers are great. While they are thicker than the Pampers Swaddlers, they are very soft. Unlike Pampers, they don't have a baby powder smell. They don't have a smell at all, which makes sense for a product being "pure and natural." No diaper rashes or allergic reactions when she uses these diapers, although she doesn't get a rash from the Pampers Swaddlers either.
What I liked the most about the Huggies Pure & Natural is that they have an elastic gathering in the back waist of the diaper. This feature helps tremendously with keeping the runny bowel movements that breastfed babies have in the diaper, instead of all over her clothes and half way up her back! (I've occasionally had this problem with Pampers since there is such a loose opening in the back). Another great feature is the area where the velcro tabs stick to on the front of the diaper. It is thick and the tabs are strong and wide.
I always strive to give my daughter the best of the best and I'm willing to pay a few bucks more for great quality products. I am happy that I can put my daughter into such a great diaper and will continue to use both the Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive and Huggies Pure & Natural.
