I should have returned this cane. It is very well made. The advertisment said that it was appropriate for my height, 5'4", but it was too long. The low cost made return less than appropriate. I liked it, but the parameters of the use as regards height were a bit off in my case. When I find one as well made that is a couple of inches shorter, I'll shop again.Customer Review: Not Quite What I WExpected

While the folding cane seemed like a great idea, I had several problems with it and so returned it. First I am tall, but only 6 ft. 1 in. Extended to its longest adjustment, the cane was a little short for me, but usable. Anyone taller than me could not use it. However, once it was extended, it did not fold well. Imagine the handle portion sticking up 6 inches above the rest of the folded part. My family suggested that I shorten it for carrying purposes and then extend it to walk. That would be a hassle expecially because it was not easy to lengthen and shorten.Customer Review: Poor construction

at first glance the cane seemed great and I was very happy with it. But after several months of use the gaskets came loose and came out and the joints loosened up and made the cane unsafe to use. Its a good concept but more work needs to be done to make it a safe choice. Buy a solid wood cane they have been the best for me by a long shot! If you use this one only once in a while it might be ok but DO NOT make it your eveyeday cane you will be disapointed in it!Customer Review: Poor construction

When I first received this cane I thought it was well constructed and sturdy. However, after the second time I folded it the 'joints' became loose and it wiggled when I used it. The fourth time I folded it one of the internal nylon 'gaskets' started to pull loose from the cane section. I pushed it back in. After the sixth time I folded it one of those 'gaskets' came apart and fell down into one of the sections of the cane. I could not retrieve it. This rendered the cane worthless.
