Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) is a conundrum - no one knows the cause and no one has any cure. When I first experienced RLS earlier this year (2009), I went online to find out what it is, why it's happening, and (most of all) what to do.
Online discussions talk about allergies to casein in dairy products, electrolyte imbalance, iron deficiency, and even that RLS is psycho-somatic (imagined). Treatments talk about everything from going dairy & gluten free, to taking mineral supplements, to getting more exercise, to seeking "professional" help.
And then there are the medications. Most of the medications suggested to treat RLS are also used to treat severe neurological disorders such as Parkinson's. The side effects of these medications seem almost as intolerable as the RLS condition itself.
Then I found the Restful Legs product. I let 3 tablets dissolve under my tongue, every four hours (6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm, and 10pm). The very first day I was finally able to sleep through an entire night without disruption from the RLS. After 5 days, I cut back the doses to just 2pm, 6pm, and 10pm. I did this because the RLS completely quit in my right leg. Today I take one dose before bed and I regularly make it through the night.
I would not have believed it since Homeopathics seemed like sophistry. And yet, this has worked very well for my RLS. I'm very happy with this product.
