I was unaware of how cold my hands get when I am sleeping - my doctor routinely recommends wearing these gloves at night for anyone with hand problems. I actually sleep much more soundly now. Cold hands are painful hands if you have arthritis... of course you are aware of that in the daytime, but maybe not when you are asleep, but if your hands are hurting you are not sleeping really deeply. I use these gloves other times too as I become aware that my hands are feeling too cold and this feels so much better.
I ordered the small as I have small hands and I do like them but I am now ordering the mediums too. The smalls feel too tight sometimes.You can turn them inside out for a little bigger or if the seams bother you.

Ideal for arthritis, hand swelling, and cold hands, they may also help with neuropathy and poor circulation. Use in the office, around the house, or for knitting, gardening, crafts and hobbies. The gloves are also comfortable for use during the night. Arthritis Gloves have received the "Ease-of-Use Commendation" from the Arthritis Foundation. Arthritis Gloves are made of soft breathable cotton Lycra and can be hand washed in cold water and air dried.
