I got this because my physical therapist said my arm pain from typing too much was partly due to the fact that while I slept, my arms would seize up into a position that didn't let them recover from the typing. Sure enough, when I started using a bandage, I began to notice my arms wanting to do that a night.
However the Ace type bandages I was using weren't strong enough to keep my arms from contracting (I lift wieghts, and my arms are not small). So I ordered this and the difference was noticeable the first night after using it. My arms felt much better in the morning, and the bandage definitely kept my arm much more straight (though it couldn't keep it totally straight) than before-
