This product while well made did cause my husband a lot of discomfort because the hard part of the Pil-o-splint pressed on a nerve in his arm. It actually caused him to throw the product off in the middle of the night. Due to the company not wanting to take back a product that has been taken out of the original packaging, we may also be out of money. I did contact the company to see about a refund and the representative said she would speak to the manufacturer to see if a refund might be made. They were very helpful. I don't know if I will get my money back. It is a well made product that I had hoped would help my husband. I was very disappointed with the performance of this splint. It has severe design shortcomings. I have moderate Carpel Tunnel that is controlled by night-time braces/splints. This product looked appealing because it is soft and thus suitable for sleeping. After even just a few nights of use, it actully made my Carpel Tunnel much worse. I would wake up in the morning with considerable pain that lasted throughout the day. I had to go back to using my old splints and now wake up pain free. This is a terrible product that should be removed from the market. It is incomprehensibe that the company actually sells a product that worsens wrist problems.
