Bought for senior. Cheaply made and useless except maybe to pick up socks off the floor. Definitely not usable to get things off shelf - including lightweight boxes from the pantry upper shelves. I loved it at first but I've gone through two in one month. They both broke off one of the suction cups and after they fall off the whole thing doesn't work anymore. Would have been great if it didn't break but I'm not about to buy a third one :(Customer Review: Disappointing results

Not what I'd expected or needed. It's not very useful as I had difficulty even removing something as light as a cereal box from an upper cabinet. The lock does not work consistently either.Customer Review: Garbage

It worked for 5 days. The release jammed and it would only open some times. Then it quit completely. Waste of money!
