Customer Reviews of Imse Vimse Training Pant Medium Animal Farm (28-37 lbs)

Customer Review: High Quality, Durable Trainer!
Summary: 5 Stars

As soon as we started using the Imse Vimse training pants, we loved them. They are such high quality for the money. The cotton is really thick and comfortable, it's organic and the prints are so cute. Plus, they hold up REALLY well even with lots of laundering. I know I'll be able to use these with younger siblings. They are perfect for day training and at night we pair them with a Bummis Whisper Pant or fleece pull up. When our son is night trained, we'll eliminate the covers all together. Even though are really thick and absorbent, the Imse Vimse pants look and feel kind of like "big kid" underwear.

Customer Review: Excellent so far...
Summary: 4 Stars

I have only used these training pants a few times, but so far I really like them. They look a bit big on my son (he weighs approx. 26-28lbs, wears a size 5 Huggies), but they stay on well and contain his pee quite nicely. I only gave it 4 stars because I would like to use them more before giving them a 5-star review.

FOLLOW UP in March 2010: I would still rate these pants the same 4 stars, as I learned fairly quickly that my son didn't really notice when he had gone in these, as opposed to the thinner Gerber multi-pack. These were fantastically absorbent, so much so that he would continue to run around in them while wet, and I would only discover that they were wet when we took them off him at bathtime. The Gerber ones did NOT fully contain the liquid (ran down his legs, sometimes dripped onto the carpet), however he DID notice and would become upset when he went in those, so I ended up using those more (for the learning experience). If you don't want to clean up messes and you don't mind that they can't always feel when they're wet, these are the way to go - SUPER SOFT and absorbent.

Customer Review: Absorbent but not waterproof
Summary: 4 Stars

Title says it all. These are quite nice -- legs and waist fit nicely, they're nice and soft and quite absorbent in my opinion. They absorb all the urine but I make sure I bring a change of clothes because some moisture makes it through the fabric and gets on clothes if the pants aren't removed immediately.

I bought every kind of training pants out there and these are my favorite. They wear and wash well (but I do soak them as soon as possible after an accident as I do with all training pants), are well made and of course they are cute.

Customer Review: not waterproof at all!
Summary: 1 Stars

We have these as well as Bumpkins and Bummis training pants. I much prefer the Bummis and then the Bumpkins. Thw Imse Vimse training pants are terrible. They fit well and are auper cute but there is NOTHING waterproof about them. They are a bit thicker than regular underwear but that is it. THey do not hold anything. Do not buy these unless your child can push out one drop of pee and then hold it until they can get to the bathroom. For that they would be great but not if there is any more than literally a drop!

Customer Review: Don't waste your cash!
Summary: 1 Stars

I thought that these would be the perfect product, because they have the waterproof outsides and are soft inside. However, they are NOT cost effective. Additionally, they hold onto orders despite rigorous, repeated cleaning. Turns out, the huge multi-pack of soft, cottony, thick Gerber training-pants was easy to find AND the way to go!
