I actually like this 'little guy' after trying it out a couple of times. Granted when I have my migraine bout, I put on my migraine patch immediately and take excedrin migraine and lie down and let this device slowly ease the pain and help the blood flow in my face and head.
All in all, I think there's a little trial and error needed to securely fasten the band around your head and not let the vibration run thru your ears. If it just happened anyway, put in your earplugs and you're good to go!
I have this for over a year and am considering buying it for my mom who suffers from migraine too.
