I've been suffering with acid reflux for most of my adult life. I would have it so bad at times I would wake up in the middle of the night with my chest and throat burning and my eyes watering. I would swallow baking soda in water constantly for a quick fix. Over the counter remedies worked, but not for long. I always seemed to be going past the "don't use more than two tablets in 24 hrs" warning that's on everything these days. I had success with different brands of Famotidine, but gave it up when my doctor prescribed me Pantoprazole. I figured anything that was prescription had to work better than something over the counter. For me personally in this instance, it wasn't true at all. The Pantoprazole seem to work very slowly, if it worked at all. I would take it and still be getting heartburn for a couple of hours after. And, sometimes it didn't seem to work, period. I decided to give Famotidine another try after seeing the mostly successful reviews for it here on Amazon. Trying some of the store brands locally gave me a much better success rate than I ever got with Pantoprazole. In fact, when taken regularly, I never get heartburn. It was just a question after that of finding the cheapest deal on it. If this Kirkland brand is not the cheapest around, it certainly is darn close. There is no question in my mind that its far cheaper than anything you will find in local stores, sales store brands included. It's only a question of finding it cheaper online, and so far I have not seen anything that beats this deal. The Kirkland Signature deal is cheap, comes in full strength, and works great to stop the relentless burning and discomfort so many of us are forced to live with. It's delivered fast, is always in stock here on Amazon, and I give this brand and deal my highest recommendation...
