I just tried my new Vitalmill, and I am in LOVE. Let me tell you what's great about it:
1. It's fast. It took barely a minute to grind 5 cups of grain.
2. HUGE capacity. You can put in 12 cups of grain at a time! The chamber will hold 20 cups of flour!
3. Extra large hopper (see above)...also makes it much quieter!
4. Quieter! All grain mills are loud, let's not kid ourselves. But with the hopper extension and hopper lid, this thing is the quietest of any mill I have used over the years! Once the grain is in, it gets even quieter! My kids and I were prepared for the worst, but I was so pleasantly surprised at how much quieter it is than mills I have use previously!!
5. Easy to use and clean.
6. Seems very durable.
The flour was beautiful and fine. The ONLY downside to it is that there is not an option for how coarse or fine you want the flour. But for someone like me who only plans to use it to make bread flour, it is perfect!!!
I love it, and I highly recommend it! You can't beat it for the price!
