I've purchased this at a local baby store (that includes an R in the name) because my 2 week old daughter has been bothered by a lot of gas despite lots of burping. Fast forward a couple of days, we took her off supplementary formula and no more gas problems but now I was dealing with (LOTS of) hiccups. While I realize they're normal and healthy even, at times hiccups would wake her up out of sound sleep. Even though these are labeled for that use, I have seen people not recommend it for hiccups. When we're all desperate for sleep though, I'd give her about half of the recommended dose and her hiccups would magically disappear. The dose we stumbled on accidentally, when I tried administering the recommended dose in two sittings since it was so large (relative to my baby's size).
I also really appreciate that this stuff doesn't have a lot of artificial flavors and colors - why those are needed in baby products I cannot understand.
