Customer Reviews of Lansinoh 20265 Disposable Nursing Pads, 60-Count Boxes (Pack of 3)Customer Review: Good disposable pads Summary: 3 Stars
Relatively good disposable pads, but with cons.
Pros:
*No leaking
*Thin but absorbent
Cons:
*Lots of packaging and they're disposable= creates waste
Each is individually wrapped with plastic (the kind that sticks to your hand and won't get off), not to mention the pads you're throwing away every day.
*Adhesive doesn't always make pad stay in place
*Expensive
So I switched over to reusable cotton pads-- Milk Diapers-- and I am really happy I did. You help the environment, save money, and stay dry.
Customer Review: bulky Summary: 3 Stars
They are absorbent but look bulky. You can tell you have them on if you are wearing a unpadded bra. Keep that in mind.
Customer Review: Not the best nursing pads Summary: 2 Stars
I usually use the Johnson & Johnson cotton nursing pads but I decided to try these since I like the lansinoh lanolin so much. It is true that I have never experienced a leak using them, but there are 3 major problems with these pads. The first is that they do not conform to the breast and the wrinkles of the pad can be seen through a shirt. I have also had polymer beads on my nipples after wearing them for only a couple of hours. The final problem and the reason that I stopped using them is that they seem to irritate my nipples. I think there may be some plastic in the backing. Each time I wear them my nipples become red and inflamed. It's back to the Johnson & Johnson for me.
Customer Review: Like wearing a diaper in your bra Summary: 2 Stars
I see that everyone loves these- but not me. These things are so crinkly, I feel like I am wearing a diaper in my bra. They may be absorbant- but they are certainly not form fitting or discreet. And for those of us on the smaller side, a little extra padding would be nice anyway. I bought these though- and now seem to have a lifetime supply that I can't return even though the other two boxes aren't open.
Customer Review: they feel scratchy Summary: 1 Stars
I didn't like how these feel against the very sensitive skin they are meant to protect. They feel scratchy, like they're made of fiber glass. I bought the Jonson and Jonson pads and they're much softer.
