Customer Reviews of Lansinoh 20265 Disposable Nursing Pads, 60-Count Boxes (Pack of 4)Customer Review: New and IMPROVED!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I recently had my first child and started my search for a breast pad soon thereafter. I've tried at least 5 brands at this point. I started with the original version of these Lansinoh pads and they were very absorbant, but just too scratchy for my sore nipples. So then I proceeded to try several other brands that either didn't absorb much at all or didn't have any adhesive, etc. While trying to decide what I was going to try next, I noticed that the label on the Lansinoh pads said it was new and improved, "Now Even Softer"! Yay, just what I was looking for.
These new pads are:
1. absorbant
2. have two adhesive strips to keep them in place
3. are much softer than the original version I had tried in September of 2010
4. are individually wrapped, so I can pack them in my purse without worrying about them getting dirty and can only change 1 if I need to
5. I personally have never had a problem with them being able to be seen on me and the only time they have bunched for me is after feeding my son and trying to put the bra back into place, which would happen no matter which brand you use
6. I have also never had one break open
7. I have only had them leak once, and it was extremely full at that point (I had too much milk and was trying to wait as long as possible before pumping)
I guess I don't know how they could improve them much unless they found a way to keep them from bunching up while feeding a baby.
Customer Review: Best Nursing Pads....EVER! Summary: 5 Stars
Almost 7 years ago after I gave birth to my daughter, I decided to breastfeed. Being a 19 years old and breasfeeding was a very uncomfortable experience. I used the reusable/washable nursing pads, to try and save money, those were worthless. Then I used every brand of cheap disposable nursing pads...I went through this the first few months. It was awful, I was constantly leaking through and all over my shirt. It's so embarresing being in the grocery store and looking down only to realize the cheap nursing pads failed again!
So finally I decided to buy these, praying they worked...THEY DID! It was like a miracle for me! I never leaked, they hold SOOOO much, I can sleep through the night with them on without worrying about leaking.
I gave birth to my 2nd child 5 months ago and right away bought these. They are still wonderful and work perfect. If you are breastfeeding dont even try anything else. These comfortable and reliable. They give you the confidence to continue to breasfeed.
Customer Review: Must-Have For Breastfeeding Moms! Summary: 5 Stars
I nursed all 3 of my kids (still nursing #3), and learned quickly with my first that sometimes lactating breasts leak at the least expected (and of course most inopportune) times. With my first especially, and especially early after my milk came in, sometimes I would leak a TON, but the Lansinoh pads NEVER leaked. Sometimes I would take them off and be surprised at how heavy they were because they had absorbed so much! I have tried some other brands, with varying levels of success, but the Lansinoh consistently kept the milk from leaking and stayed in place. The other ones I tried did not have something to stick to the bra, which caused issues with them moving out of position, obviously making whatever absorbency they did have moot. And I also like that they are individually wrapped, which keeps them clean until you're ready to use them, even if you want to throw them in the diaper bag or whatever.
Customer Review: Best for These Breasts Summary: 5 Stars
This is my first child, and I had no idea how challenging staying dry between pumping sessions would be! I tried using the Madela cotton washable pads, but they immediately got wet and soaked my bra. I tried stuffing anything in my bra to keep up with the clean-up, even folded tube socks. I finally started cutting maxi pads in half and stuffing them down my bra--this worked but made for a very lumpy look.
I read the reviews and had to try the Lansinoh product. They REALLY work for me! Sometimes I have to change them with each pumping (every 4 hours) and sometimes I can get away with two or three pumpings before I have to make a change. Regardless, when they DO fill up, my bra stays dry!! :) They also stay in place very well--I don't even use the adhesive. HIGHLY recommended!
Customer Review: Superb Nursing Pads Summary: 5 Stars
My favorite thing about these nursing pads is how soft they are and how well they hold leakage. These pads are lifesavers! I have tried Medela and Avent pads, but didn't like them as well. I was not pleased with the slick, plastic-like feel of those pads. In my opinion, Lansinoh was much softer. Even with sore nipples, these pads do not rub and I wore them comfortably. I tend to leak a lot at night, and these awesome Lansinoh pads did the trick in catching my leakage. There are two strips of adhesive on each side of the pad which provide great hold and easily removable. But like all nursing pads I have tried, the Lansinoh pads also tend to bunch up, leaving a wrinkled look under the bra. These are the pads that I love the most and will only use these while breastfeeding.
