The Lelo Lily is a lovely little gadget, with a clever and appealing design. Whereas many vibrators look cheap and ugly (even if you don't have any inhibitions about leaving a vibrator lying around, you don't usually want to look at the things from an esthetic point of view), the Lily looks nice and feminine. I have the light pink one and it just exudes girliness. The Lelo Lily has been designed with the female body in mind and although other vibrators do the job, Lelo have finally understood that there is more to it than just that.
In other reviews on the web I read, people rave about the packaging it comes in, and while this is not a reason for which I would buy a product, it is nice treat. The box is the same colour as the Lelo Lily inside (mine was therefore light pink) and inside in a black box are the charger and the Lily itself. There is also a little satiny pouch so you can take it with you in, for instance, a handbag. The photos suggest that it is fairly large, but it is in fact tiny - smaller than the palm of your hand. It is made of silky smooth plastic, not the usual hard stuff, so it is nice to play with, also on other parts of the body.
Now the important bit: its functionality. I find that it works really well. It has several speeds; the lowest ones are too low, but the higher ones work perfectly for me. I can imagine, though, that some women need more stimulation to orgasm, and in that case you might want to consider a more powerful vibrator. The stimulation is in the tip, as it is only for clitoral stimulation, not for penetration. Because of its design and its size, however, you can use it during intercourse with a partner without it being in the way.
It is not waterproof, but it is splash proof. It has two buttons (one for up and one for down) and when they are pressed simultaneously the Lily locks itself so it can't go off unexpectedly when you are carrying it about. It has been said that the Lily is so quiet women have worn it in their underwear while out and about, but I think that's just an urban myth. It is very quiet when on low speeds, but quite noisy on the higher ones. Still, not nearly as noisy as most of the previous vibrators I've had.
If I want to buy another vibrator, I would go for a Lelo again. I love this one and I would definitely recommmend it.
