I take a multivitamin and calcium & this product. I saw the label and it showed beta-glucans in them. Naturally occuring beta-glucans. Beta glucans have been shown to aid the immune system.
I have been taking them for 5 months now and have not had 1 infection, neither bacterial nor viral. Normally, I would have caught something, even on the multivitamin.
I know a friend who is prone to a constant viral infection that they used to take L-lysine for, but they could only take that for so long before they had to stop. They started this product and haven't had another problem since.
I will not go without these.
