I'm happy with this product because it's accurate (compared to Dr.'s office) and easy to use. I think it's superior to many other blood pressure cuffs in that it's batteries last very long compared to those with an automatic pump. I've owned the type with the automatic pump in the past and the readings tend to lose their accuracy as battery power wanes (which is on the order of 10-50 times faster for the automatic pumps).
The instruction booklet was helpful in interpreting the results and taking single readings with an ounce of skepticism, since readings can be temporarily off due to stress or other factors. One thing that I didn't find in the instruction booklet but should have been in there is that one should make it a point not to stare at the blood pressure monitor while it is in its countdown and instead think about something else, other than blood pressure, entirely. This simple exercise (which is realistic unless you are usually thinking about blood pressure throughout the day) tends to lower the diastolic number by as much as 10-15 points if you are normally inclined to get stressed about the readings even while taking them.

The UA-704L Mini Manual Inflate is an innovative monitor that incorporates digital blood pressure technology and advanced features in a small, compact design. This monitor has been clinically validated for accuracy (+/- 3mmHg and Pulse +/- 5%), so you can be confident that your readings are consistently correct. The measurement range is 20 mmHg to 280 mmHg and Pulse: 40 to 200 pulses/minute. Included with this hand-held monitor is the A&D Medical Irregular Heartbeat feature that alerts the user and provides an accurate measurement even when an irregular heartbeat occurs. A manual inflate monitor offers an economical solution to those who need an accurate way to monitor their blood pressure, but without the expense of an automatic inflate unit. In addition, this energy efficient monitor can perform approximately 2,000 measurements with just one "AA" battery (included). A cuff that is too small will result in a higher than expected reading and a cuff that is too large will result in a lower than expected reading.
