If you have knee arthritis, you're well familiar with pain and stiffness. You also know that heat feels good- which is what this is device is all about. While it probably doesn't provide deep heat all the way down to the joint, the muscles sure get a healthy dose. Using infrared energy, this handy device will do several things for you:
-decreases pain. Just having heat on your knee can make it feel better
-increases the circulation. Heat makes the blood vessels open up which brings more blood into the area.
-increases flexibility. As your knee heats up, things become looser
Probably one of the biggest benefits people don't think about is that as your knee hurts less and becomes less stiff, you'll be able to move it better- which is the best time to do knee exercises, and in many cases, allows you to do exercises you otherwise couldn't without the heat (recommend Treat Your Own Knee Arthritis if you need some good knee arthritis exercises). Remember, heat feels good, but it is only temporary and does nothing to say, strengthen your knee.
Just a great tool to provide heat to your knee- or any other painful area too!

I am a stay at home mom of three little ones so I don't have time to write a thorough review, but I felt I should at least write a little something about this great product. For years, I have had a lot of pain in my back and shoulders from some past injuries and nothing has helped relieve the pain much (except for maybe lots of theraputic massage but that is hard to find time or money for). Well a friend ended up buying the Light Relief for me as a gift for Mother's Day and I actually let it sit on my dresser for a few weeks before trying it because I was very skeptical. Eventually I got desperate enough from the pain because I was having a bad week, painwise, and so I thought i'd give it a try. It says in the manual that it usually takes 2 weeks of using it every day before you notice improvement but it turned out I noticed it after that first session! Now I tell everyone I know because this Light Relief has been a lifesaver for me - especially when I was hardly even sleeping at night from pain and now I can just turn this thing on and set it on my sore areas and peacefully doze off (it has a timer so it turns off after the recommended 15 minutes). I only wish it had a bigger surface area because I have a lot of painful areas.Customer Review: Very well made and it WORKS~Better than the other brand.

I had foot surgery and at physical therapy after surgery they used the professional level of this machine on my foot and it helped so much I started looking for one to have at home.
My first one was another brand and it did work but broke after 41 days. Was made very cheap.
This on the other hand is professional quality and works even better. It is more comfortable to use and it can run AC and or DC which is a huge plus.
It also has a heat mode which is very soothing. Not hot just a mild warmth. It comes with a nice travel case and a body strap so it is easy to position anywhere on the body. The pad with the lights is removable from the unit so it can be curved around a knee or foot or shoulder.
I cannot say enough good about this item. It has helped my arthritis so very much. With a 2 year warranty what have you got to lose? Ask your doctor and give it a try. My doctor was delighted I can get some relief without needing so many meds.

I've had chronic nerve pain in my toes for years now and have tried steroid shots, acupuncture, and oral pain medication. Nothing has worked. At my wits' end, I decided to try Light Relief after seeing an infomercial on TV. I didn't have too many expectations that it would work, considering that I had tried many other remedies to no avail. To my great surprise, after using the Light Relief for some weeks, I experienced a decrease in the pain level and this has continued. I am very, very happy with my Light Relief. By the way, I am NOT a paid endorser nor do I know anyone that works for Light Relief. The only problem I experienced with it is that the adapter it comes with to plug into an electrical wall outlet went out, but I inserted six batteries and it's working fine. Also the adapter can be purchased separately and is widely available. If you have chronic pain like I do, give the Light Relief a chance, you may get results where other products/therapies have failed.Customer Review: Works Wonders

I could hardly move my left shoulder I was in so much pain, I was popping pain medication like candies. Myself and my daughter saw the Lightrelief add on the TV. I thought "oh another informerical." My daughter said "Daddy that might help your arm, you should buy it". Skeptical I phoned in, gave them my credit info and waited.
On arrival I followed the user instructions to the letter. After a few days I was able to move my shoulder without much pain. It felt like it was `loosening up' the pain seem to be going. In a state of shock I continued on and after a few weeks my shoulder was in full revovery. No more pain killers, just the occasional Light Relief `top up' when I get a slight twinge in the shoulder. The pain that I used to have has gone, I have full mobilty with my shoulder.
Its the best $$$$$ I have EVER spent
