After my ankle surgery I needed something to cover my toes when I had to go out with just a cast on. Novembers' in New York can be pretty chilly. I was able to easily put the cast-cozy over my cast and go out without feeling the cold on my toes. Right now I am wearing a support boot but still wear the cast-cozy while in the boot and there is no temperature difference from my regular shoe to the foot with the cast-cozy on it.
