Thanks for your note regarding the Gummy Vites product. Yes, we are aware of the reported lead issue from Consumer Labs. The followup to that story, which was not widely reported in the media, is that Consumer Labs (which is neither a consumer group, nor a lab) was in error with their findings. Further analytical testing of the Gummy Vites product, by two independent labs, showed quite clearly that there is no lead contamination. This is but a single example of problems with the Consumer Lab analytical process and results - not to mention the fact that the majority of CL's revenues come directly from the supplement industry in the form of licensing fees for their seal of approval.
We feel that the Gummy Vites product has been adequately proven to deliver a balanced (and safe) nutrient profile. So much so, in fact, that several SupplementWatch staffers buy it and give it to their own children.
