These vertical HEPA-filtered airflow cleanrooms provide up to ISO Class 5 (FED-STD-209E Class 100/M3.5) conditions. Applications include microelectronic and semiconductor fabrication, medical device manufacturing, QC inspection, sterile filling and packaging, and pharmaceutical processing. The complete unit features durable hardwall construction with prefabricated wall studs, panels, steel I-beams for structural support, and gasketing to ensure sealing. Wall panels are 10cm (3") thick with a polystyrene core and white 3.2mm (1/8") thick vinyl-covered hardboard on both sides. Base of unit consists of 24-gauge steel track, vinyl-finish base molding, and pre-formed outside corners. Insulated, 4.4cm (13/4") thick pre-hung door is constructed of painted steel with electrostatically-applied white enamel finish and a 6.4mm (1/4") thick tempered safety glass window. A heavy-duty 3.8x3.8cm (11/2x11/2") anodized T-grid supports filters and lights (T-grid must be supported). Filtration is provided by compact, self-powered HEPA ceiling modules and a polyfiber prefilter. High-capacity, backward-curved metal impellers within statically-balanced, direct drive external rotor motors maintain a constant airflow with an average measured clean air velocity of 90cfm (+-10cfm). Solid state airflow control is adjustable between 70-120cfm. Individual switches for motor and fluorescent lighting. UL listed. Ordering Information: Design and engineering services are included. ISO Class 8 through ISO Class 6 (FED-STD-209E Class 100,000/M6.5 through Class 1000/M4.5) conditions are available. Standard-size units are listed; other configurations, cleanroom panel textures (aluminum, stainless steel, or painted steel), project management, installation, and certification are available.
