I saw on Oprah the intro of LOVELY with Sarah J. Parker. I ordered and was not disappointed. It's very feminine. It's a light scent, but it does leave one wanting another whiff. The bottle is a little tricky to hold but it's a beautiful bottle. I have worn BEAUTIFUL only by Estee Lauder for years, but am now alternating between LOVELY and BEAUTIFUL. A friend was wearing this recently and several of us asked her what it was. I normally don't wear perfume because it will usually gives me a headache. I went to Dillards to try a sample to see if my body chemistry worked with it and I LOVE it. I could even smell a faint whiff the next day before my shower. This is a classic fragrance, not your overpowering J-Lo, B'Spears, etc. I wish I could explain the scent...but it is tough to describe. It isn't fruity or flowery. Perhaps a bit of lavendar though? Basically, you don't overpower a room with it. It has a bit of an "old-world"-ness to it...but as far as I am concerned, that is a wonderful thing. I am a 31 year old professional, I wear it daily and out at night, and I just love it.

It has such a scent, very fresh and light yet distinct and new -it took me less than a second to decide that this is the right birthday gift for her, my wife. Miss Parker talked about this piece in a late night show, I think and I thought her personality is nicely blended into this fragrance. Wife just loved it, which I knew for sure from the fact how she explains me why 'Sex and the City' is something much more than promiscuous lifestyle.
