I ordered these for my Mom who is a Scrabble addict but is losing her sight. The tiles have enough contrast that she can see them and still be able to play for a little longer. The tiles are thicker than the originals and a little smaller in length and width. We play on the deluxe turntable board with the raised grid around the squares on the playing surface and since the tiles are smaller, they do rattle around a bit. However, this doesn't interfere with our happiness that we found these tiles.
