I agree with J T Bathija. The traditional monitors are inaccurate because your blood pressure varies between systolic and diastolic. If you measure 5 different readings, you get 5 different measurements. The Lumniscope 1095 uses different technology and the readings are very close to each other. I "calibrate" my Lumniscope 1095 by taking it in with me on my doctor visits. They seem to fall within the multiple readings the doctor gets.
