I use maca to help the symptoms of PCOS. I generally buy the NOW Foods brand of maca, and it has worked great for me. Since it was out of stock, I tried this brand. I was not happy with it at all. I had bad stomach cramping and felt sick after taking it. I only took three pills and then trashed the rest. I never had any side effects whatsoever taking the NOW Foods brand. I will go back to using that.Customer Review: Would not recomend

I bought this product with another that was "certified" 100% hoodia from South Africa, I ate both each day and lost 15 pounds in 3 months, then I ran out of the certified stuff and only had Amermed left, while only taking Amermed, my appetite came back and I gain 3 pounds, and every day since has been a challenge to keep my weight down. Obviously, this AmerMed product didn't work very well, and its a too bad Amazon continues to carry this product, I have since ordered the other product which has a C.I.T.E.S (official certified product of South Africa), in my opinion, AmerMed is ineffective. I do not recommend it.
