If your heavy set and can't bend good anymore or have two metal hips like me (I'm BOTH by the way!) then this HELPER is just the thing for YOU!!! Only those who know what I'm talking about will understand or even care but this thing is a GREAT help with something that to MOST people is just a simple job! Once you have one, You'll wonder why you didn't think of this simple little tool a LONG time ago! Thanks so much! I couldn't be happier with this simple little tool! Warren

Talk about one good product - MAN!
I used to struggle daily each morning to get my socks on.
A lot of times I would have to rest or go back to bed, my
hips and thighs would just be killing me.
This simple device is a godsend to anyone trying to get dressed
any day of the week. I would put my socks on and not remove them
until the last thing at night. I would take naps during the day
and leave my socks on. Not anymore! It is such a breeze putting
my socks on I do it several times a day!
My sock getter- oner goes with me hunting, fishing or traveling.

My father suffers from back pain and hip pain. I bought this item for him two years ago, not really knowing if it was liked or not... he's not a man of many words. Well, he just visited from FL and I could see he needed a replacement, as his was a well used and well worn favorite accessory. I just got another one for him, and he was thrilled. Told me that he uses it every day and makes sure it's always packed when travelling. By the looks of the first one, he was telling the truth. Works well, I am truly happy that my Dad found it to be so helpful. He does wear diabetic socks, (not sure if that would matter or not in it's usefulness).Customer Review: Does the Job

I bought this aide for my 51 year old brother recovering from a hip replacement. Putting on his shoes and socks were the final obstacles preventing him from independence following his surgery. Loafers solved the shoe problem and this gadget solved the sock issue. My brother couldn't wait to call me and let me know he had put on his own socks. He said the pictorial instructions were very easy to follow. My brother is 6'7" tall and found the straps for pulling to be plenty long enough. He wears a size 13 shoe. His XL socks work just fine with this handy tool. The price seems very reasonable for the independence this product provides.Customer Review: Terry Cloth is User-friendly to Nylons

After hip replacement, a sock aid is a necessity. The Terry Cloth Sock Aid is wonderful, and easy to use, and friendly to nylons. I'd like to offer a little tip: when your toes reach the stocking toe, press your toes to the floor and hold them there so when the rest of the stocking is pulled on, your toes will not be too tightly encased.
I have 3 types of stocking aids, but this is my favorite!
