I was diagnosed with arthritis in my right knee over a year ago. I've tried cortizone shots and synvisc shots - nothing relieved the pain. I took an anti-inflamatory pill daily but that still did nothing for the pain; next step was a brace. That cost me $500 and though it helped somewhat, I spent most of my time pulling it up as it would slip down as I walked and then eventually caused a nerve problem in the right leg because the brace was pressing the nerve -- that was the end of the brace. A very good friend of mine is a sales representative for a health company that strongly believes in magnetics and the healing power. Because products sold by this company are not in my budget, I decided to try buying something with magnets, thus, this ankle bracelet and also a copper magnetic bracelet to wear on my arm. I purchased both back in July or maybe earlier and the only time I'm not wearing them is when I'm bathing! If I'm on my feet for a long period of time then yes the knee hurts but resting it soon relieves the pain; otherwise, I'm fine - no anti-inflamatory medicine, no brace - I can actually walk normally and I owe it all to the magnetics. This ankle bracelet is attractive and I would enjoy wearing it whether it had magnets or not.
