We read the books, limited liquids but nothing worked. We decided to give the bed wetting alarm a shot because I had heard good things regarding alarms. My son is 7.5 yrs and we knew it was time to get serious about this. According to the product's manual it said it takes on average 10 to 11 weeks for success, but I'm happy to say after 4 weeks we had no more wet nights. This alarm is much more expensive then other alarms, but I bought this one because it vibrates and also beeps when the child starts to wet. In addition it's really easy to use. No sewing involved like in some of the cheaper versions. This one just clipped onto his underware and that was it. To make it even easier in the beginning when we first started we had our son clip the alarm to his underware and then put a "Goodnight" pull up over that so the only clean up was the underpants. It worked like a charm and it was well worth the money not only for us but of course for our son.

Everything you need, now in one compact alarm. This single tone Malem ULTIMATE combines light, sound and vibration to help even the deepest sleeper wake. A tamper proof selection switch can be easily set to sound only, sound and vibration or vibration only. The switch is located inside the battery compartment to prevent accidental or unintentional switching. All settings have flashing lights. Compact and lightweight (less than two ounces including two AAA batteries) with all the advanced features and advantages of the world famous Malem alarms. The alarm is connected to a clip-on sensor which detects moisture. This new Easy-Clip sensor easily clips and anchors to the outside of any close fitting underwear for boys or girls. NO sewing to hassle with or metal clips or snaps to come undone during the night. NO mini-pads to buy and attach each night! Sensor contacts are within the clip so skin contact or sweating will not trigger the alarm. Malem products have been in worldwide use for 25 years.
