My Dad introduced me to this wonderful sound machine several months ago. He gave me the one he had for around 20 years if that tells you anything about longevity. There were a few options on the original- although I became fond of the Frogs and Crickets. It was unfortunate that the machine days were finally numbered.
I was soon gifted with a Brand New Machine. The Machine Model #1288A has more options and includes choices of overlay sounds. It also has a timer feature which is nice. Puts me to sleep everytime! This is a great option for those of you who use a bedside fan for the noise. On cooler winter nights- fans are not exactly the best choice. Brrr... This machine also has a area for a earpiece of your choice.
