I've put this bolster thru its paces since I bought it 10 months ago -- 4-7 hours of massage a day, 4 days a week, plus outcalls on the weekends -- and it still seems brand new. The padding, vinyl, and zipper show no signs of wear or damage. This bolster is a bit firmer than some more expensive bolsters on the market, but I've had lots of ginormous people squashing it, and it always bounces back into shape. I've dozed on it myself, and it's plenty comfortable, too.
