Customer Review: Inexpensive batteries that work well

I really don't know what is wrong with these batteries and why they are so inexpensive. As far as I know they work fine, but I haven't done any real technical analysis or testing.

With these batteries, when it is time to replace batteries in a toy or a gadget, I don't feel bad all. I couldn't say the same with the store bought batteries - because they are so expensive.

Some times these (or similar ones) are sold by Amazon with free shipping (with 25-dollar purchase).

These are very good quality batteries. My average cost per battery is less than $.25 each and that includes delivery charges. I have been using them for years and have saved a ton of money. These are not the cheap foreign batteries you get included with some products that last about 15 minutes. These batteries compete with the "big boys". If your not buying these Maxell batteries, you're paying too much.

Every year or two we invest in a large packet of AA alkaline batteries to use in products that sit most of the time, but that we need to work when we do use them. A large inexpensive pack like this is perfect for the task. These have worked well in flashlights, clocks, two-way radios, and a camera. I would buy them again.
