Shipping was very fast, put the 4 AA batteries in, My Ipod Touch 3G was at about 90% discharged, plugged it in, Ipod Touch gave me a message that it is not a support accessory. Called Amazon, they quickly sent me a return label. Still searching for a good solution that uses disposable batteries that work with the IPod Touch 3G.

If anyone knows of a good solution please comment. Thanks

I bought this to use to charge my video iPod while at a cabin with no electricity. Turns out, it will run an iPod while you listen to it, but does not just charge an iPod. This is problematic when using an iTrip to run the sound through a radio, since they both plug into the same slot. I did get it to slowly charge a friends Nano though...

In the product description on the Amazon site, it said it is compatible with ipod mini, but when I received the product, it said that it is NOT compatible with the ipod mini. I will need to return it before I open it. I am disappointed, since I wanted to use it to take it with me when I travel.

this is an ok product for what it does, which is power your iPod. notice I said "power" it does not CHARGE the iPod!!!!! this is poor labelling on Mexell's part. I would not get this, because you can get a device that not only powers, but actually charges you iPod, for less money!
