I went to England. I wanted to take no AC chargers due to the expense and hassles of travel power adapters. I bought this for my iPod and it ROCKED! You gotta love the 7-11 School of Design. You can buy AA batteries almost anywhere in the world! I bought this, replaced the batteries only once over a 9 day trip and listened to the iPod for hours and hours. What a weight/space/aggravation saver!Customer Review: Great for overseas flights!

This battery backup was great for my recent trip to the Philippines. I was able to watch a number of movies on the flight plus listen to many hours of music. The original set of batteries was still functional for half the return trip. It is a nice feature that the iPod battery is not used up while the backup is in use. I would highly recommend this product for anyone that takes long flights.Customer Review: This Is The One

This is great! You'll get at least 25 hours of Music without using a second of the iPod battery. I've had it for over a month I use it every day I'm still on my first set of batteries.
Then you still have approximately 12 more hours depending on your iPod.
Just get it knowing this will not charge your iPod battery and will not work if your iPod battery is dead. Enjoy!

Works as advertised. I'm using it with my iPhone. drained the iPhone battery down, then connected it to the Maxell battery pack w/ 4 AA Duracell batteries. It played a video at 50% volume for 4.5 hours. Probably could have gone another hour, but I got tired of waiting for when it'd died. All the attachments dont fit the iphone, but I just need the battery pack itself.Customer Review: useful battery pack

We like the Maxell iPod Backup Battery pack because it greatly extends the hours of listening on our iPods. We use 4 - recharageable AA batteries and get a least 16 hours of listening. We have never run it completely down as we usually have a chance to recharge both the iPod battery and the back up batteries after that many hours.
